What does the TXRX System do?

1. Converts two 1/4 inch (balanced or unbalanced) signals to balanced output, sending these signals down a tactical CAT5 cable up to 100 feet (30 m). This allows you to get the amps off the stage or to isolate a combo amp in a studio. Can use standard mic cables or studio tie lines with available adapters.

2. Runs on 24V Volt supply compatible with Strymon Ojai/OjaiR30/Temple-Cioks MOD-Hi5. Allows delivery of 9V at 2 Amps (18W total) to the Send box thru the CAT5 cable. (TXRX- SP).

3. 1 Megaohm input impedance won’t load down pickups when connected directly to the guitar.

4. Transformer isolation allows for ground lifting to kill hum.

5. High-Current OpAmps are able to drive the transformer effortlessly and maintain original guitar tone.

6. High-Current Buffered Output can drive an unbalanced cable to an amplifier when not utilizing the full system.

7. Polarity Reverse Switch on L output of Receive Box to quickly check speaker polarity. Essential when running two amps.

8. Supplied with 15M tactical CAT5 cables from Revelation Cable Company.

Send Box

- 1⁄4 Inch High Impedance Input – accept either balanced or unbalanced input.
- 1⁄4 Inch Buffered Output – Unbalanced Mono, High Current.
- High-Current Out, Low Noise/Low Distortion Rail-to-Rail Opamps drive the transformers
and the buffered outputs.
- High Nickel Core, Line Isolation transformer by Jensen Transformers for lowest
distortion and best tone.
- Output is Ethercon, Shielded Ethernet cable. Adapters for XLR-M available.
