Caroline Aaron Graves Overdrive Preamp Power Amp Drive

Caroline Guitar Company Aaron Graves Overdrive is a compact preamp and power amp style drive pedal built around the much-loved preamp character found in Caroline’s Parabola and Météore pedals, with extra gain range and flexibility added for players who want more than a simple always-on drive. It is designed to deliver clarity, weight and character whether used on its own or stacked with other gain pedals.

At its core, the Aaron Graves Overdrive combines Caroline’s familiar preamp-style voicing with a revived “Mode B” circuit inspired by the older Haymaker and Icarus V1, giving players access to a more power amp-like clipping feel. The result is a drive that can stay articulate and open, but can also get heavier, rougher and more aggressive when pushed.

A bass voicing selector adds extra control for different guitars, pickups and studio setups, especially when using humbuckers or neck pickup tones. With plenty of gain and output volume available, this pedal works equally well as a tone-shaping preamp, a main overdrive, or a stackable gain stage for pushing the rest of your pedalboard.
