This compact, single-rack unit provides eight Class-A Audient console mic preamps and a suite of features including variable impedance and high-pass filters to help you get the sound you're seeking. Boasting top-quality Burr Brown converters, this ADC offers reliable, professional results every time, meeting or exceeding both mic pre and dedicated converter standards.

Use the variable high-pass filter to clean up your track and remove rumbling and other undesirable low frequencies. You can adjust the sweep from 25Hz to 250Hz to clear out proximity effect and other audio detritus to prepare your signal ready for crisp, clear recording. The ASP880 offers a variable impedance setting, which lets you match your favourite ribbon mic to the pre without sacrificing any of the pep or response of your mic. While ideal for ribbon mics, this setting subtly enhances the sound of other mics.
